OTS…(A) Floating Oil Skimmer

For removing oils floating on water and sludge that flows easily (see video)

  • inlet on one side
  • apart from the inlet screen, this device consists of only one part
  • this eliminates the need for spare parts
  • connection piece horizontal or vertical downwards
  • available according to ATEX, here with additional earthing connection
  • no need for any adjustments for satisfactory operation
  • depending on the suction flow rate set on the pump, this device raises and lowers automatically.
  • unsinkable, even in the event of severe damage
  • this device is comfortable in heavy swell, only the oil removal suffers. The water surface should be calm for smooth oil removal.
  • with 2 large carrying handles and 2 safety eyelets
  • the lid can be unscrewed on request
  • compared to the standard suction nozzle, this is also available one size larger

OTS…(B) Floating Oil Skimmer

For removing oils floating on water (see video)

  • inlet is 360°
  • lightweight yet robust design, more comfortable handling
  • with 3 floats at the top, height-adjustable
  • if required, 3 additional floats at the bottom
  • lower floats are adjusted together with the upper floats
  • the 3 outer floats can be replaced individually, advantage in case of damage!
  • with middle float integrated on stabilising ring
  • if required, the centre float can also be used as a flooding chamber with the aid of the flooding valve if the buoyancy is too high. The centre float is flooded via an arm that carries an outer float. The air inside is then compressed. If the buoyancy is still too strong, the air can be vented via the vent valve, which allows more water to enter, making this device even more stable on moving water because the water in the flooding chamber is always horizontal.
  • for ATEX with additional earthing connection (also zone 0, 1 or 2)
  • inlet with handle, adjustable in height, integrated in the centre float, with anti-rotation device
  • inlet itself is one nominal width larger than the oil outlet (suction nozzle), thus rapid flow in
  • under the central float with stabilising ring and stabilised edge
  • larger devices have two stabilising rings, which are arranged in a staggered arrangement
oil/water outlet connection welded under the appliance, horizontal or vertical downwards (depending on requirements), available to choose from:

  • External thread (if the customer provides a hose and requires this external thread)
  • Hose nozzle (direct hose connection)
  • Geka coupling (if we supply a hose or if requested by the customer)
  • made entirely of stainless steel in V2A quality or also entirely in V4A quality
  • the threaded rods on the underside of the floats are used for anchoring with a rope
  • for larger devices, the 3 arms can be used for the ropes
  • possible with pump installed directly underneath, as type OTS-P….(C)
  • with stabiliser; in the event of strong water movement, the device cannot tip over at all, it remains in place.

  • with 6 floats, height adjustable
  • lower floats are adjusted together with the upper floats
