How do you recognise that a corporation (bank, company, government calling itself a state and so on) must adhere to the UCC registry?

All entities that engage in international trade and must comply with the UCC are registered with a D-U-N-S® number. — D-U-N-S is the abbreviation for: Data Universal Numbering System. Introduced by Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), also from the USA. This D-U-N-S number is the unique identification of a company. A D-U-N-S number is only issued to commercial persons or companies. This D-U-N-S number is also used by the European Commission, among others.
